Ado-Ekiti, August 22, 2025 – Eminent Ekiti son, Dele Philips, has passionately called on residents of Ekiti Central Federal Constituency II—and the state as a whole—to seize the opportunity of the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration (CVR).
In a recent statement, Philips reinforced the importance of the Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC), describing it as “a vital tool that empowers citizens to participate in the electoral process, choose their leaders, and determine the direction of the state.” He emphasized that voter registration is not merely a right but a solemn civic responsibility for every eligible Nigerian .
Philips urged citizens to act promptly: begin the online pre-registration via the INEC portal (cvr.inecnigeria.org), which commenced on August 18, 2025, and to proceed to designated registration centers for biometric capture starting August 25, 2025 .
His call aims to deepen democratic participation and ensure that Ekitiians are fully counted ahead of the approaching 2026 gubernatorial and general elections.
