Good afternoon.
Today marks a significant step in our party’s journey as we inaugurate the National Forum of Former Legislators and officially launch our Campaign Council in Ekiti West Local government.
Let me give thanks to God Almighty on behalf of this forum for sparing our lives to witness a prestigious day like this not by our power but by His grace!! To God be the glory.
Again, our sincere appreciation goes to His Excellency, Our capacity Governor, Abiodun Abayomi Oyebanji for his unwaving commitments to the overall development of Ekiti State, indeed, he has created an enabling environment for all the good things to strive in our dear land and I pray God will give him more wisdom as he progresses in leading Ekiti State.
As former lawmaker, we carry the responsibility to continue serving Nigeria beyond the h0llow chambers. Our Forum is a platform to support democracy, promote good governance, and advance the Renewed Hope agenda of our President, His Excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.
President Tinubu’s bold reforms and steady leadership have restored confidence in governance and set Nigeria on the path of economic recovery. The APC remains the party of progress, and Ekiti State remains its stronghold.
The Campaign Council we are launching today in Ekiti West will mobilize our network experience and grassroots strength to ensure APC’s victory in both forthcoming Governorship and Presidential Elections and our focus is for peace, unity, and delivering results for Nigerians.
To our newly inaugurated members, this is a call to service, not privilege. Let us uphold the values of loyalty, discipline, and patriotism that define the APC as you all know that Ekiti has always led progressive politics in Nigeria.
With President Tinubu at the helm, we will lead again.
